The USDA requires Civil Rights Training on an annual basis at least once per year for all of its 15 food programs. In order to remain compliant, you will need to complete this simple training at annually generally before the program that you are affiliated with starts.

The key takeaway is that all participants are allowed an equal opportunity to receive meals without discrimination.

All program literature must include the USDA minimum declaration of, “This institution is an equal opportunity provider,” to stay in line with USDA federal guidelines.
